It was awesome to discover 3 of our American Presidents - Martin Van Buren, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt were related to us through marriages by Van Buren and Theodore Roosevelt.
There is an actual Cemetery named after us near the Virginia /Tennessee Borders and we are the actual descendants of the first settlers in New Amsterdam.
